The Australian honours and awards system, a special way our nation has celebrated over 500,000 positive contributions since its introduction in 1975, reaches its 50th anniversary. To mark this significant occasion, the Royal Australian Mint presents this visually striking commemorative year set. The highlight is a uniquely coloured 50c coin, inspired by Stuart Devlin’s iconic Order of Australia medal and incorporating the distinctive ribbon colours of the Order of Australia, Bravery, and National medals.
